L7 = Level 7 — the floor where the CCTV switch rack is located (uplink from L1 server room, switch IP 192.168.100.2) L7-3-C07 = port label on the CCTV patch panel at Level 7 P2P = point-to-point wireless bridge (replaces physical cable on moving lift car) TX = transmitter (fixed at shaft ceiling) · RX = receiver (moves with lift car) PoE = Power over Ethernet — sends power + data on one cable Cat6 = Category 6 network cable (carries data, and power when used with PoE) CCTV VLAN = isolated network for cameras only — not connected to the internet
